Fun Little Stampers...my 3 and 5 year old love em!
I had a coupon for these and thought I would give them a try since my kids love stampers. I like that they are self inking and don't dry out. I also like that they are washable. They are also large enough to easily find amongst our drawers full of "crafty stuff". I realize that they are geared for toddlers, but I got them for my 3.5 year old and 5.5 year old kids and they had a great time stamping up their paper.

Each stamper stamps a little face of the animal character that houses it. The stamper itself is up inside the animal about a half inch and the stamper has to be turned upside down and pushed down to make the little plunger stamp the image. This is great for younger kids as they won't just inadvertently rub ink all over everything. The crocodile and beaver stamps are very cute. The duck would be cute if you could see it better. The yellow ink just doesn't show up well on white paper...haven't tried it on different colored paper yet.

The only thing I would say that my kids didn't like about these stamps was that they couldn't stamp their hands (something they love to do)....although I realize this may be a good selling point for some parents...LOL! They seem to only stamp on very flat surfaces i.e. paper on a table. Other than that, I think they do what they are supposed to do and can bring some real enjoyment to kids of many ages.

Tadoodle Stampers Are Fun
I purchased these for my 18 month old son in order to get enough merchandise to get free shipping. The reviews I had read before purchasing this product seemed to be favorable. When I first showed them to my son, he just liked to pick them up and play with them, he did not quite understand "how to stamp" at first. He would try to "stamp" while they were sitting upright. Once we showed him how to stamp (i.e. turning it upside down), he caught on very quickly. His coloring books are filled w/ crocodile, beaver, and duck stamps (by the way the yellow duck stamp shows up very well on paper). Our son even stamped a crocodile on his father's arm and on our end tables(the stamps washed off both surfaces very easily).

Not great for 2 year olds
I see in some other reviews that these were great for 4-5 year olds, which is who they should be marketed to in my opinion. I had a coupon for these so thought I would try them. We used them once and gave them away. The stamping mechanism was too difficult for my child to press down consistently, and it is difficult to angle it just right and flush to the paper. And, when you do stamp the right they are noisy! The stamped picture is also so small (the size of the top of a pencil) that she had no ability to recognize what it was an itty-bitty picture of. Definitely not the best Tadoodles product out there.
